Ann Bellinger

My name is Ann Bellinger; I’m an ‘HA’ from River Bend Pony Club in the Virginia Region. I am very excited to be representing the United States with 3 other amazing girls in Australia this summer! I want to thank my family, especially Dawn Bellinger, friends, and coaches for all of their continued love and support throughout the years. I wouldn’t have made it this far without you all!

I began riding at a young age and started leasing my first horse, Willie, when I was 9. Flash forward a few years: I joined Skyeler Icke Voss, who really taught me the ropes of eventing. Because of commit to sports and academics, I didn’t compete as much as I would have liked to in high school so I decided to take a year off between high school and college to be a working student for Kelli Temple. Hands down best year of my life! I learned more than I thought was possible in my year with Kelli, and she helped me reach my goal of competing on the Preliminary Team at USPC Festival in 2011.

I am currently a sophomore at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Economics. I also play #3 on the varsity squash team, am property manager of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, and am Chapter Leader of Students for Education Reform-Tufts.

I can’t wait to meet up with my three teammates, our coach, and our chaperone to head over to Australia for 3 weeks of fun and competition!
